Role Summary
We are seeking a compassionate School Social Worker/Counselor to foster a healthy, supportive, and inclusive school community. You will guide students through personal, social, and academic challenges, working closely with teachers and parents to support students' emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing personal or academic stress.
- Develop and lead workshops on behavior improvement, anti-bullying, and study skills.
- Conduct behavioral interventions and coordinate action plans with parents and teachers.
- Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special social needs.
- Act as a bridge of communication between school administration, teachers, and families.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of empathy, patience, and professional confidentiality.
- Minimum 2 years of counseling experience in school or youth-focused environments.
- Fluent command of Arabic and good communication skills in English.
